Adam Winokur is a litigator whose practice focuses on copyright, right to identity/likeness, privacy, commercial disputes, and trademark. Mr. Winokur is a client-focused attorney with a passion for and experience with intellectual property. In Law School, Mr. Winokur earned the top grades in his classes on Intellectual Property, Copyright, and others. Mr. Winokur performed in-depth research on online enforcement of copyright, and he drafted several pieces addressing various aspects of the online copyright takedown process. Also in Law School, Mr. Winokur researched under the distinguished professor of copyright, Wendy Gordon, and he obtained a concentration in Intellectual Property, with honors for outstanding performance. Mr. Winokur further was awarded the magna cum laude distinction for graduating with a GPA within the top 10% of his law school class.
Mr. Winokur has substantial experience litigating unique and complex cases from start to finish including those involving defamation, contractual and commercial disputes, intellectual property disputes, torts, and employment matters. Mr. Winokur has defended clients, both individuals and entities, from large damage allegations, and has obtained sizeable recoveries for clients who have been wronged. Mr. Winokur has extensive experience drafting and arguing pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, drafting discovery requests and responses, and appearing before Judges, Mediators, and Arbitrators. Mr. Winokur is an affable but aggressive litigator who pursues his client's interests unflinchingly.
Mr. Winokur is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice in all State Courts in California as well as the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
